Alex is a PhD candidate at Imperial College London within the Ouldridge Group.

Alex co-founded an award winning AdTech startup, Letterwell.co. 

Letterwell started as a marketplace for email Newsletters to find Advertisers, but grew to provide custom built SaaS tools that delivered and tracked pay-per-click ads into emails. 

Alex worked for over two years in the Goldman Sachs Asset Liability Management Engineering team. Alex was responsible for designing infrastructure and models for the booking of Funding Bonds. Alex was responsible for supporting existing infrastructure and was critical in building a new unified infrastructure to replace prior dispersed systems. Alex received a fast-track promotion at Goldman. 

Alex completed a funded summer placement with the innovative synthetic biology startup company CustoMem, now Puraffinty, which involved both technical and commercial development of pipeline products. CustoMem develops selective bacterial cellulose membranes aimed at the removal of hazardous micro-pollutants.
